Even if you haven’t had your pulse on the news wire over the last week, you are sure to have heard of the U.S. Postal Service’s woes. What you might not have heard about were the significant announcements from around the globe about Digital Mailbox Services.

CrawfordTech’s Weekly Reading List: March 9, 2012

March is shaping up to be a great month for the Enterprise Output Management and Enterprise Content Management markets. As we mentioned last week CrawfordTech will be attending the AIIM Conference 2012 in San Francisco and the 2012 Xplor International Conference and Vendor Forum in St. Pete Beach. The hot topics this year include multi-channel communications, Digital Mailbox Services, preference management and information management. Speaking of those topics, they are also in this weeks news.

This week your must reads include the death of POSTNET, WTF QR Codes, EMC’s decade long achievement and a search for the Eighth Wonder of the World.

In addition we have a new announcement from our Archive Management Solutions division that will give our customers more capability and flexibility when archiving native print files (print-streams) into EMC Documentum.

Welcome to March! This is a month full of excitement for the High Volume Transactional Output (HVTO) print and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) industries. Why? We have two of the most targeted trade shows in the industry coming up this month, AIIM Conference 2012 March 20-22, San Francisco, Calif., and 2012 Xplor Global Conference and Vendor Forum March 27-29, St. Pete’s Beach, Fla.

CrawfordTech will be at both shows as a sponsor (Gold at AIIM and Platinum at Xplor); if you are going to be attending be sure to let us know by dropping us a note or setting up and appointment!

With this being a busy month and a year where many companies are preparing for drupa in Germany this May, the news is plentiful.
