Blog Policy

Please take a moment to read our Blog Policy - it will help you understand what we will and won't do here...

The Crawford Technologies Blog is written by a variety of employees at different levels and positions in the company and a select group of trusted partners, so you can expect many viewpoints. You can also expect the following:

We will strive to have open and honest dialogues with our readers.

We will correct inaccurate or misleading posts in a timely manner.

We will not delete posts unless they violate our policies. Most changes will be made by adding to posts and we will mark any additions clearly.

We will disclose conflicts of interest. We will not disclose information covered by formal confidentiality agreements. We will protect confidential information that we gain through the normal course of business. We will disclose personal conflicts due to the sharing of information that may in any way benefit the individual, their family or their friends. We will protect the confidentiality and business interests of our partners, customers, suppliers and prospects and will disclose when the sharing of such information would conflict with their interests.

There are some topics we won't comment on such as information about financials, intellectual property, trade secrets, management changes, lawsuits, shareholder issues, layoffs, and contractual agreements with alliance partners, customers, and suppliers.

We will provide links to relevant material available on other blogs and Web sites. We will disclose any sources fully through credits, links and trackbacks unless the source has requested anonymity.

We understand that respect goes both ways — we will use good judgment in our posts and respond to you in a respectful manner. In return, we ask the same of you.

We trust you will be mindful of the information you share on our blog — any personally identifiable information you share on a blog can be seen by anyone with access to the blog.

We will respect intellectual property rights.

We will use good judgment in protecting personal and corporate information and in respecting the privacy of individuals who use our blogs.

With regard to comments:

Comments will be reviewed by staff before they are posted on our blog.

We will review, post and respond to comments in a timely manner. We welcome constructive criticism. We can't respond to every comment, but will read all of them.

We will not post comments that are spam, inappropriate, defamatory, use profanity, or otherwise violate our policies.

Because our blog focuses on material of general interest to all our readers, we ask that you direct customer support inquiries through our traditional customer service channels or use our Customer Knowledge Base. Using these channels will allow you to get your issues to experienced CrawfordTech support representatives in a timely manner. Our staff will not respond to customer support issues and we will not post these comments to our blog.
